I'm a registered Naturopathic Doctor in Ontario, in practice since 2000. I've lectured to students at CCNM, the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors' annual convention, the Canadian Fertility and Andrology Society, the Infertility Awareness Association of Canada, and the Toronto Infertility Network. For 10 years, I created and wrote a column, The Naturopathic View, in Creating Families, a magazine that was published by the Infertility Awareness Association of Canada (IAAC). My opinions on health and fertility issues have been featured in the Toronto Star, the Globe and Mail, Chatelaine magazine, and NOW magazine.
I'm certified in mindfulness meditation by Mount Sinai hospital, and while earning my BA in Psychology I have undertaken additional training in counselling as well as working as a Peer Counselor at Concordia University. Acupuncture, reflexology, and herbal medicine are therapies that were studied while in the four-year ND program at CCNM, and in workshops and seminars since graduation.
From 2003 to 2017, I served as an acupuncture examiner for the College of Naturopaths of Ontario (CONO). I am currently in the position of Practice Advisor for CONO.
